We never seem to get these exactly right. Patty signed on at five, but the chat wasn't supposed to start until six. However, she stayed on until just after eight, so those who were smart enough to join at the correct time didn't get a short chat. Thank you to Has for moderating, this was a very fun chat!

5:24 Patty This month as been foreign book month. FH sent me a copy of the Japanese version of Moon Called (which is lovely), and I have copies of Rabensauber (the raven books) from Germany. As well as contracts for the Mercy books and the Dragon books for French publication (two different houses).

5:32 Patty When I was in Chicago working at an Insurance Agency, I used to hate it when people with a heavy Chicago accent and a deep voice called. I couldn't understand a word and had to pass them off.

5:34 Patty My husband had a Japanese physics teacher who would get excited and drop into Japanese for large parts of class. They bribed the Japanese student to hold study sessions because he was the only one who understood the whole thing.
